Radiography is a standard diagnostic imaging tool utilized to diagnose injury and illness in pets. Ark Animal Hospital has advanced imaging devices at our facility, which allow us to examine pets right away and make diagnoses quickly using digital images which are higher resolution than traditional film radiographs and have more viewing capabilities. Since our radiograph images are stored digitally, we can easily provide the images to pet owners and veterinary specialists as needed. We also work closely with outside veterinary radiology specialists to interpret as needed.
Ultrasonography is a simple, non-invasive method of examining organs and other internal structures to detect abnormalities that may not be visible through other diagnostic tests. Ultrasonography is also key in evaluating musculoskeletal injuries, abnormalities within the gastrointestinal system, as well as growths or masses within the body.
