Welcome to our veterinary practice in Jefferson, LA, where we pride ourselves on our unique approach to veterinary care. We believe in building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners, and strive to create a comfortable and stress-free environment for all. Anna Landry
Medical Director
Dr. Anna Landry graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia. As a native of the New Orleans area, she was excited to begin her veterinary career close to home. Since then, she has continued to grow as a veterinarian, with an emphasis on comprehensive, individualized care for every patient.
Dr. Landry pursued additional training in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in order to offer more integrative options to her patient care.
She is passionate about practicing exceptional medicine and helping owners make informed decisions about their pet’s health and well-being. A strong advocate for continuing education, Dr. Landry is committed to staying current with the latest research, evidence-based recommendations, and advancements in veterinary medicine. She has a particular interest in preventative health and wellness and enjoys learning about and evaluating products to help pet owners choose quality options that are safe, effective, and beneficial for their pets. Through her educational platform on Instagram, [@doctorlandry], she shares veterinary advice, pet care tips, and a behind-the-scenes look at life as a veterinarian.
Dr. Landry is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association (SLVA), and the Visiting Pet Program where she also serves as the program’s medical advisor.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Landry can be found spending time with her husband, their two Golden Retrievers, family, and friends. She loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and staying active.


Robert Vennen
Dr. Robert Vennen is a small animal veterinarian at Ark Animal Hospital with a strong interest in surgery, orthopedics, and preventive medicine. While he enjoys all aspects of general practice, surgery has become a particular focus of his career. Dr. Vennen performs a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, including fracture repair and surgical treatment of common orthopedic conditions such as cranial cruciate ligament injuries and patellar luxations.
Dr. Vennen is committed to continually expanding the level of care he can provide his patients. He regularly pursues continuing education in surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic ultrasound, dentistry, and other areas of small animal medicine, bringing new techniques and knowledge back into everyday clinical practice.
Whether he is seeing a new puppy for its first wellness visit, working through a complicated medical case, or treating an orthopedic injury, Dr. Vennen believes in practical, individualized care. He enjoys working closely with pet owners to explain their options and develop a treatment plan that makes sense for both the patient and the family.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Vennen enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, who is also a veterinarian, and their three daughters, Addison, Emma, and Hailey. He also enjoys cooking, fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors with his family.
