Dr. Anna Landry grew up in New Orleans and has always loved caring for animals. When her childhood dog became sick and passed away, she grasped the empathy side of medicine and knew she wanted to help owners treat and care for their pets. She graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and studied acupuncture at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She worked in Metairie as an associate veterinarian for two years before joining the team at the Ark.
She has two Golden retrievers, Georgia and Loui (short for Louisiana). Georgia is tennis ball obsessed and usually falls asleep with a ball in her mouth. Loui is an 87-pound cuddle bug who loves stuffed animals; his favorite is a 5-foot-long plush penguin he likes to carry around her house.
In her free time, she enjoys eating at new restaurants with her boyfriend, working out, running, watching movies, and traveling to spend time with friends and family across the country.
